The AccessEd Accelerator drives the creation and growth of university access programmes with PhD researchers as change agents.

The Accelerator includes two phases: a recruitment and assessment process for potential partners, and a structured two-year package of expertise, resources and support.

Phase One: Pipeline

AccessEd invites new partner applications through an open process. New partners are assessed for their alignment with AccessEd’s mission and values; local knowledge and networks; education expertise; and their capacity to commit to developing and leading a new programme.

Our next Expression of Interest Window for 2019 partners ends on August 1st 2018. Get in touch to request an Expression of Interest form and find out more about the selection process.

Phase Two: Seed and Development Programme (Year 1)

In Year 1 of the SDP, AccessEd supports partners to design, deliver and evaluate a pilot university access programme. We offer a high-value package of support to partners, including practical resources and leadership development workshops. We also license intellectual property such as programme materials and brand assets, which enhance the quality and credibility of the pilot. Where possible, we broker grant funding and pro bono support for the pilot.
